An orchid that is still in bloom next year
Real orchids drop their flowers in weeks. This one keeps every petal, for as long as you keep it.

Zero maintenance
A permanent display piece
Built once, it needs no water, no sunlight and never wilts.

A slow build
Brick by brick, from pot to bloom
Open the box and lay the 587 pieces out by colour: navy for the pot, green for the leaves and stems, white and pink for the blooms, red and orange for the lanterns and buds. The booklet shows every step with the pieces you need.
Stack the round navy pot, set the curved leaves and build the two arching stems. They are quick and give the orchid its shape.
Each white flower is built petal by petal around its pink-and-yellow centre, then the little red lanterns and orange buds are hung along the stems. This is the slow, satisfying part.
Clip the flowers onto the stems, bend the stems into a natural arc and set the pot where you would put a real orchid. Then leave it alone: it needs nothing from you.
Why not just buy an orchid?
Because a real one drops its flowers in weeks and sulks all winter. This one asks nothing of you.
No water, no sunlight

Before you build
The questions people ask before their first build.
About the size of a real potted orchid: roughly 35 cm tall and 25 cm wide, with a pot about as big as a large mug. Exact measurements are printed in the booklet.
They are small-scale bricks, yes. The printed booklet shows every step with the pieces you need, and sorting them by colour first makes the build easy to follow.
The arching stems, the curved leaves and the navy pot are designed to read as a plant, not a toy, and the little red lanterns give it character. Up close, the studs are part of the charm.
Plan on an evening or two. It is meant to be slow: sort, build the pot and stems, shape each flower, then arrange the stems the way you like them.
It is designed for ages 14 and up. The set contains small parts, so keep it away from young children.
